Natalia Suit graduated in 2014 with a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology and concentration in the Anthropology of Religion from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She also received a Duke-UNC Diploma in Middle Eastern Studies. Her dissertation, entitled "Qur'anic Matters: Media and Materiality", was awarded the Manning Award for Outstanding Dissertation in Anthropology (UNC) in 2015. Natalia is currently working as an adjunct faculty at King University in Bristol, VA, and is preparing her dissertation for publication with the Indiana University Press.
