Jacqueline
Cieslak is a PhD student in anthropology at the University of Virginia.
She is conducting ethnographic research in India from July 2014 -
August 2015 for her doctoral project, "Rites of Sanitation: Caste,
Cleanliness, and Development in Delhi." This research is funded by
Fulbright, Wenner-Gren, and the National Science Foundation. She
received her BA in English and South Asian Studies from the University
of Iowa.
